GURU SINGH ON THE BREATH

Everyone knows that breathing dirty air can make you physically sick, and now -- according to new medical research -- it’s showing that polluted air makes you more aggressive too. This conclusion comes from several medical studies that find undeniable correlations between ‘short-term’ exposure to air pollution and highly aggressive behavior. More aggravated assaults and violent crimes are recorded wherever the lungs are exposed to airborne toxins.

Toxic air interferes with the very delicate biological balance of osmosis. Albert Einstein said, "Living creatures, and all physical matter, are simply slowed down sound and light waves...a collection of frequencies, all aligned by, and then tuned in with the cosmos. Souls dress up in these biochemical, material garments...bodies that become the instruments through which the souls play their music.” Imagine the importance of breath -- the primary nutrient for these sacred and delicate instruments, even more so than food, or water -- then imagine life's reaction when this primary nutrient is toxic. In the legends of the yogis and rishis, they would tell that whatever you breathe you believe.

Every part of your physical body contributes to the biochemistry of your emotional body, and then your positive, negative, and neutral mental bodies interpret these signals as the feelings of your emotions. The lungs are the instruments in your body that take this primary information into the blood to nourish and direct each cell. What you breathe, you believe...the biochemical foundations are within the breath.
