AN AMAZING YEAR - 2023

It’s been an amazing year:

  1. Taught Deep Massage in January.

  2. Had a memorable February ZB overnight retreat in Llano, Tx.

  3. Mid-March - The publication of my latest book, with Dr. Jeff Rockwell - The Memory Palace of Bones - “"the most poetic journey through our innerness since Deane Juhan surprised us all with the soaring and elegant “Job’s Body” - Tom Myers

  4. The Wedding of Jake Lauterstein and Lauren Hemphill in April.

  5. Julie and me - 35th wedding anniversary in April.

  6. Planning, then having our first ever one-year ZB Certification Program at our school - with 22 people enrolled!!! - begun with ZB I in May..

  7. May 11-14 - ZB Faculty Retreat in Wilmington, Vermont..

  8. Taught Deep I and II at the Costa Rica School of Massage, June 21-30.

  9. ZB II in July in Austin - during our longest heat wave ever.

  10. Aug. - taught Advancing ZB Skills Day.

  11. also August - Begin an MFA in Creative Writing in poetry, Texas State University..

  12. September - Alchemy of Touch - Advanced ZB workshop.

  13. October - Deep Massage in Maine, Downeast School of Massage.

  14. also in October - gave presentation in national Zero Balancing Community Benefit.

  15. November - taught Geometry of Healing - completing the 100 hour ZB Cert. coursework with our incredible group.

  16. November 27 - Cataract surgery.

  17. turned 76 on Dec. 4.

  18. Upcoming - a trip for a yoga retreat to Xinalani in Mexico.

    - along with all this - continued giving ZB and DM sessions, golf, yoga, personal training, poetry writing and reading.

These great things are counterpointed by the horrors of war in Israel and the Ukraine, climate change, support for authoritarianism in the U.S. and other countries, May peace and goodness prevail!
